The 30-year-old agreed to a $51,440,000 deal that will have him playing at Great American Ball Park for the next 4 years.
In season stats Harang shows a 4-5 record in 11 games, 71 innings, 53 strikeouts and a 4.31 ERA. | | Monday, May 5th, 2008: Dave Ross Rockets 3 Home Runs After his record-making performance Dave Ross of the Cincinnati Reds told the press, "Everything was clicking. My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them. But it wasn't good enough to win the game." He slammed three homers, yet Cincinnati dropped the game to the Colorado Rockies 10-9.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," the Reds manager said. "It takes more than one guy to win a game."
In a losing cause Ross shined brilliantly with 3 hits in 3 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
D. Ross hit a solo-shot off U. Jimenez in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off T. Martin in the 3rd, walked in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off M. DeJean in the 8th.

In yesterday's contest at Great American Ball Park, Cincinnati's Paul Konerko and Colorado's Brian Fuentes caused the benches to empty when they went toe-to-toe against one another. Only Konerko and Fuentes were ejected by the umpires.
Upon hearing that the two players had been suspended 4 games each by the league office, harsh comments came from both clubhouses.
League officials have warned both organizations about the consequences of premeditated retaliation.
This year Konerko is hitting .233 with 4 home runs.
To date in the 2008 season, Fuentes has saved 1 games while tossing 12 innings. He has a 3.75 ERA, fanned 13 batters and made 11 relief appearances. | | Injuries | Player | Injury | Out for... | Disabled List Status | 1B Frank Catalanotto | torn abdominal muscle | 3-4 weeks | On DL, eligible for return | CF Norris Hopper | fractured cheekbone | 6 months | 27 day(s) left (60-day DL) | | Team Information | Record overall | 19-31, .380 PCT | Position in Division | 8th, 14.5 GB | Record at home | 8-10, .444 PCT | Record on the road | 11-21, .344 PCT | Record in X-inning games | 1-2, .333 PCT | Record in one-run games | 3-9, .250 PCT | Record versus LHP | 1-5, .167 PCT | Record versus RHP | 18-26, .409 PCT | Record last 10 games | 5-5, .500 PCT | Record in April | 8-14, .364 PCT | Record in May | 11-17, .393 PCT |
