| Breaking News |  | Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007: Year Ends for Joe Unknown in Henderson
Joe Unknown had to leave the Moths game against Mexico after suffering a fractured elbow while colliding with a player at a base. He will be out of the lineup at least 7-8 months. He told reporters, "I just felt a sharp pain when it happened. I knew there was something wrong."

| Friday, May 18th, 2007: Howard at His Best, Whips Monumentals
Tom Howard put a hex on Oelwein in a sparkling 5-0 shutout performance, mesmerizing them on a 6-hit gem.
"I feel good physically," he said. "Everything's comfortable. You should pitch well when that's the case."
It was anything but comfortable for Oelwein.
"Howard used his changeup very well, very effectively," the opposing manager said. "He threw it in hitter's counts."
The Henderson Moths hurler fanned 8 and walked 1.
This season Howard has worked 52.2 innings with 33 strikeouts en route to a 1-6 record and a 7.52 ERA. |
| Tuesday, May 8th, 2007: Doug Clark Injured, Out for Season
The season is ending on a bad note for Doug Clark, left fielder for the Henderson Moths. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Clark was hurt against the Lavonia Sidearms while making a defensive play. He suffered a pinched nerve and will be out for at least 7-8 months.
This season Clark is batting .308 with 11 RBIs, 29 runs scored and 3 home runs. |
