| Breaking News |  | Monday, May 21st, 2007: Brigands-Prodigy Fight Nets 4-Game Suspensions
Joe Unknown of the Virginia Beach Brigands and Joe Unknown of the Atlanta Prodigy got into a wrestling match yesterday at Ballpark of Virginia Beach and now must pay the consequences for violating league rules. They have both been assessed 4-game suspensions by the league for inciting the heated altercation between the two clubs.

| Tuesday, May 1st, 2007: Pitcher of the Month Named in SL1
A reliever is at his best when the game is on the line. The pressure doesn't get to him. John Shepherd of the Virginia Beach Brigands is just that kind of pitcher. In April, he was acclaimed the Pitcher of the Month by the Sub League 1.
Virginia Beach's star reliever held the opposition to a .240 average and put up 9 saves and 14 strikeouts in 13.1 innings with a 1-1 mark and a 3.38 ERA.
