| Breaking News |  | Monday, May 21st, 2007: Brigands-Prodigy Fight Nets 4-Game Suspensions
Joe Unknown of the Virginia Beach Brigands and Joe Unknown of the Atlanta Prodigy got into a wrestling match yesterday at Ballpark of Virginia Beach and now must pay the consequences for violating league rules. They have both been assessed 4-game suspensions by the league for inciting the heated altercation between the two clubs.

| Thursday, April 19th, 2007: Prodigy Díaz out of Action
The season is ending on a bad note for José Díaz, second baseman for the Atlanta Prodigy. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Díaz was hurt against the Scottsdale Sapphires while throwing the ball. He suffered a herniated disc and will be out for at least 7 months.
This year Díaz is batting .366 with 3 home runs and 10 RBIs. In 18 games he has scored 11 times.

 | Wednesday, April 18th, 2007: Joe Unknown Out for Season
A blow for Joe Unknown today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 11 months with a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament. Unknown suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Atlanta Prodigy are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Unknown's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature.
