Tuesday, May 29th, 2007: Jimerson Goes on Rampage Against Rowdies
On top of the Chula Vista hit parade today was Charlton Jimerson. He went to the plate 5 times and marched away with 5 hits, sparking the Chaos to a 16-2 victory over the Bruceville-Eddy Rowdies.

The sweet swinging right fielder told reporters, "Each time I went to the plate, I was thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere. When I focus on that, I usually have quality at-bats."

The skipper of the Rowdies wailed to the press, "Too much plate. Not the way we planned it. Any hitter in the league will rip you when you do that."

C. Jimerson singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off J. Unknown in the 5th and singled in the 8th.

So far this year Jimerson is hitting .358 with 3 home runs.
Monday, May 21st, 2007: House on a Hot Streak, SL1 Player of the Week
J.R. House has been in a real groove lately. The 27-year-old Chula Vista Chaos catcher nabbed Sub League 1 Player of the Week honors today after beating up on opposing pitchers all last week.

House's hot streak featured 15 hits in 27 at-bats, no home runs, 3 RBIs, 9 runs scored and a .556 average.

Thus far in 2007 House is hitting .404 with no home runs, 22 RBIs, 24 runs scored and has compiled a .447 OBP.
Monday, May 14th, 2007: Harris Red-Hot, SL1 Player of the Week
It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Sub League 1, but last week Joe Harris of the Chula Vista Chaos reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week.

Harris rocked opposing pitching for a .462 average (12-26), 1 home run and 6 RBIs to come away with the award.

This season Harris is batting .373 with 1 home run. He has scored 20 runs and driven in 26.
