Breaking News | | Tuesday, May 29th, 2007: Jimerson Goes on Rampage Against Rowdies On top of the Chula Vista hit parade today was Charlton Jimerson. He went to the plate 5 times and marched away with 5 hits, sparking the Chaos to a 16-2 victory over the Bruceville-Eddy Rowdies.
The sweet swinging right fielder told reporters, "Each time I went to the plate, I was thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere. When I focus on that, I usually have quality at-bats."
The skipper of the Rowdies wailed to the press, "Too much plate. Not the way we planned it. Any hitter in the league will rip you when you do that."
C. Jimerson singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off J. Unknown in the 5th and singled in the 8th.
So far this year Jimerson is hitting .358 with 3 home runs. | | Monday, May 21st, 2007: House on a Hot Streak, SL1 Player of the Week J.R. House has been in a real groove lately.
