Tuesday, May 29th, 2007: Jimerson Goes on Rampage Against Rowdies
On top of the Chula Vista hit parade today was Charlton Jimerson. He went to the plate 5 times and marched away with 5 hits, sparking the Chaos to a 16-2 victory over the Bruceville-Eddy Rowdies.

The sweet swinging right fielder told reporters, "Each time I went to the plate, I was thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere. When I focus on that, I usually have quality at-bats."

The skipper of the Rowdies wailed to the press, "Too much plate. Not the way we planned it. Any hitter in the league will rip you when you do that."

C. Jimerson singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off J. Unknown in the 5th and singled in the 8th.

So far this year Jimerson is hitting .358 with 3 home runs.
Thursday, May 3rd, 2007: No Hits for Bailey, String Runs out at 21
The Nails stopped Mark Bailey's 21-game hitting string today at Ballpark of Bruceville-Eddy, but they didn't stop the Rowdies. They fell to Bruceville-Eddy by a score of 9-1. Bailey didn't get a hit in 3 at-bats.

Bailey's current batting average stands at .336 and he has chalked up 4 home runs and 29 RBIs.
Tuesday, May 1st, 2007: Bailey Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games
The Rowdies proved to be mere mortals today as they lost to the Rangers 8-7, but Mark Bailey continued his god-like hitting as he collected 1 hit and ran his hitting streak to 20 games.

When asked about his torrid-hitting right fielder, the Bruceville-Eddy skipper said, "Bailey is playing great and is on fire now. Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins."

Bailey was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said, "We lost the game. Nothing else really matters."
M. Bailey struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and flied out in the 9th.

In 2007 Bailey is currently batting .331 with 4 home runs and 28 RBIs. In 27 games he has reached base at a .368 rate and scored 18 runs to date.
