| Breaking News | | Monday, May 28th, 2007: SL2 Awards Player of the Week Trophy
Jorge Greene went on a hitting spree last week against Sub League 2 pitchers and today copped the Player of the Week Award.
The Sept-Īles Onslaught right fielder peppered the opposition with 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and 8 runs scored. In the last 6 games he hit .522 with an on-base percentage of .621.
Greene is currently hitting at a .263 pace with 3 home runs, 22 RBIs and has scored 22 times. |
| Tuesday, May 1st, 2007: Mays Wins SL2 Top Pitcher Award
The Sub League 2 announced the winner of the Pitcher of the Month Award for April.
It went to Joe Mays of Sept-Īles for his outstanding 3-1 record and 1.35 ERA.
Mays also chalked up 5 starts, 33.1 innings and 16 strikeouts.

 | Thursday, April 12th, 2007: Onslaught Shortstop Injured
Joe Unknown will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and stated the Sept-Īles shortstop could miss the remainder of the year. Unknown was injured while throwing the ball in the Onslaught-Law clash at Onslaught Ballpark recently. Doctors said he has a herniated disc and would be out a minimum of 8 months.
