| Breaking News | | Friday, June 1st, 2007: Heintz Picks Up Best SL1 Batter Honors for May
Not known for his offensive prowess, Chris Heintz set the league afire in May and took home the Sub League 1 Batter of the Month award.
The Anaheim catcher posted a steady .343 batting average, 5 home runs, 14 RBIs and 16 runs.
This year Heintz has batted at a .325 pace with 51 hits, 6 home runs, 21 RBIs and scored 26 times. |
| Monday, May 28th, 2007: Potent Bat Pays Off, Perez Player of the Week
This week's top performer in the Sub League 1 was third baseman Antonio Perez of the Anaheim Prowlers.
He lashed out a .400 average and was voted the Player of the Week. Over the last week Perez tagged 10 hits in 25 at-bats and 1 home run, drove in 4 runs and scored 4 times.
This season Perez has 1 home run and a .348 batting average. |

All week long nobody could get Dan Johnson out in the Sub League 1 and that is the prime reason he was voted the Player of the Week.
The Anaheim first baseman took home the trophy by blasting 10 hits in 25 at-bats for a .400 batting average, driving in 8 runs and scoring 2 times.
