This week's outstanding performer in the Sub League 2 was left fielder Allen Sullivan of the Helena Valley Northeast Guerillas.
He racked up a .500 average and was voted the Player of the Week. Over the last week Sullivan plastered 9 hits in 18 at-bats and 1 home run, drove in 6 runs and scored 5 times.
This season Sullivan has hit at a .312 clip with 27 RBIs, 6 home runs and 30 runs scored. He has played in 49 games. |
| Friday, April 6th, 2007: Helena Valley Northeast's Ford to Miss Season
Helena Valley Northeast has lost starting pitcher Mark Ford for at least 7 months. He was hurt in a game against the Golden Gators while throwing a pitch and sustained back spasms. His doctors said Ford will probably be out the rest of the year.
