| Breaking News | | Monday, May 7th, 2007: Taos Pueblo's Watson SL2's Hottest Hitter
So far in his young career, Brandon Watson has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Sub League 2 in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts.
The 25-year-old Taos Pueblo Kestrels center fielder hit at a torrid .519 clip as he collected 14 hits in 27 at-bats, no home runs, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
Watson is batting .373 with 1 home runs and 17 RBIs this season. |
 | Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007: Ramirez Fires Shutout in Tremors Win
Horacio Ramirez was in charge the whole game in the Tremors victory over the Kestrels today. In a superb performance he blanked Taos Pueblo 3-0, yielding 3 hits while registering 8 strikeouts and 1 walk.
To this point in the season Ramirez has 4 wins and 1 loss and a 2.60 ERA.

 | Thursday, April 5th, 2007: Taos Pueblo Loses Unknown, Will Miss Season
The season is apparently over for Joe Unknown. The Taos Pueblo Kestrels medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 7 months with a ruptured disc. Unknown was hurt in the game against Jersey City while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season.
