The MacComb Knighthawks second baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the Lavonia Sidearms and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Jacobson was injured while colliding with a player at a base. His doctors diagnosed it as a dislocated shoulder and stated that he would not be able to play for 7-8 months.
In 6 games this season Jacobson has compiled a .190 batting average with 4 hits and no home runs. He has also scored 3 times and knocked in 0 runs. | |
