 | Tuesday, April 17th, 2007: Bennett Keeps Hit Streak Alive The Jersey City Power suffered a 2-1 setback today at the hands of the Lacombe Law at Power Ballpark, but their hot-hitting catcher Gary Bennett went 1-for-3 and stretched his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. G. Bennett struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, walked in the 6th and singled in the 8th. In the 2007 campaign Bennett has hit at a .383 clip with 9 RBIs, 2 home runs and 8 runs scored. |
