 | Tuesday, April 10th, 2007: Career Over for Blanco, Major Injury Teammates rushed to the side of Arlington catcher Henry Blanco, when he was hurt in the Arlington-Corpus Christi game yesterday at Arlington Grounds. They were right to be concerned about Blanco -- he had suffered a torn ankle ligaments running the bases. This type of injury, most likely, not only ends the season for Blanco, but also his career. Thus far this season Blanco is hitting .222 with no home runs, 2 RBIs and no runs scored. He has 4 hits in 18 at-bats and has played in 5 games. |
