 | Wednesday, April 4th, 2007: Year Ends for Joe Unknown in Raleigh
The doctors have spoken and Joe Unknown of the Raleigh Mutiny didn't like what he heard. The 23-year-old right fielder is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Unknown sustained his season-ending injury during the Minneapolis Thunder game yesterday at Ballpark of Raleigh. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while running the bases. Today the Raleigh medical staff reported Unknown had a torn posterior cruciate ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 7-8 months.
