Pittsburgh, New York Make Deal 
The <Pittsburgh Pirates:team#15> announced a deal with the Giants today, sending 26-year-old reliever <Ed Poole:player#292> to <New York:team#13> for 20-year-old reliever <Christy Mathewson:player#226>. It had been talked about for the past few weeks and everything came together late last night. All players are expected to be joining their respective clubs shortly.
