Done Deal: Smith for Lajoie
Sometimes a change of scenery can be a beneficial to a baseball player. That is the hope in <Pittsburgh:team#15> and <Philadelphia:team#7> as the teams came to an agreement today which sends 32-year-old third baseman <Jud Smith:player#328> to the Athletics and 26-year-old second baseman <Nap Lajoie:player#204> to the Pirates. "Only time will tell if this is the right move for everyone," stated the <Philadelphia:team#7> GM.

In his career <Lajoie:player#204> is hitting .345 with a total of 32 home runs.
