O'Connor and Chance Traded
Today at a press conference the <Pittsburgh Pirates:team#15> announced a trade has been completed with the <Chicago Orphans:team#11>. The Pirates have shipped 34-year-old catcher <Jack J O'Connor:player#275> to the Orphans for 24-year-old catcher <Frank Chance:player#41>.

For his 1182-game career <O'Connor:player#275> has hit .274 with 1228 hits, 659 RBIs, and 18 home runs.

Lifetime <Chance:player#41> has played in 173 games with a .287 batting average. Among his 140 hits are 19 doubles, 8 triples and 2 home runs. He also has scored 95 runs and driven in 49 runs.
