Pirates Deal Carr to Phillies for Delahanty
<Pittsburgh:team#15> and <Philadelphia:team#14> announced today in a joint press conference that 28-year-old shortstop <Lew Carr:player#35> will be going to the Phillies in exchange for 33-year-old first baseman <Ed Delahanty:player#73>. "It'll be exciting to join a new organization," one player said. "Some of us could use a fresh start." The players have each passed physicals and are expected to report by day's end. 

In his all-time stats <Delahanty:player#73> is hitting .343 with 2174 hits, 82 home runs, 1368 runs scored and 1242 RBIs.
