StatsLab incorporates a draft utility that can be used to run drafts outside of OOTP. With the draft utility, it is possible to schedule a draft, have StatsLab auto pick for teams either using a GM's draft list or StatsLab's own draft list, and send out notifications when draft picks are made.

Purging the Last Draft
Whenever you run a new draft in StatsLab for a league in which you've previously run a draft, you should use the Purge Last Draft button to clear out the various settings and items from the previous draft. This button will perform the following tasks:
- Clear out the draft order
- Clear out the draft pool
- Clear out the auto draft list and individual team draft lists
Failure to use this button may result in errors, including things like StatsLab trying to auto draft an ineligible player.

Player Pool
Auto Draft List
Once you are satisfied with the player pool for your draft, click the (Re)Generate Auto Draft List button. The auto draft list will then be regenerated by StatsLab to include only the players in your current draft pool. If the number of players in your draft pool and the number of players on your auto draft list are not identical, then a problem has occurred that you should investigate.
StatsLab takes a number of factors into account when generating the auto draft list, and it will differ from the in-game recommendations made by OOTP. It may also be the case that you don't like the StatsLab auto draft list very much. In this case, the option to import your own auto draft list is available. In order to ensure correct formatting and that the list is complete, it is recommended that you allow StatsLab to generate its auto draft list first. Then you can export the results, reorder them as you see fit, and reimport them into StatsLab. Please note that any changes you make to the draft pool will require that you go through this process again, so be sure to save your work.
